The Trickett's (the other staff couple that we work with at the U of S) have a cute little guy named Emmanuel. He is going to be two years in November. Since August, we have been spending alot of time at their house preparing for September, and so we have gotten to spend alot of time with Emmanuel. The funny thing is that last year he could care less who we were...we got a hug here and there but that's about it. But this year, since he has grown up a bit, he's taken a liking to us (it's nice, cause he's fun!) He started calling me "Mimi" right off the bat. Makes sense, you know, mindy could work as mimi when you are just learning how to talk. But the funny thing is, he is confident that Tom is "Nat". Even if you say 'where is Tom?' to him, he will point and say NAT. So we go with it...it's hilarious. He also does a great "old man walk" where he kinda croaches over, sticks his butt out, and put both his arms straight out behind him...he totally looks like an old man and we can't figure out why he does it! Personally, I think it looks like he's going to the bathroom while he walks but he's not cause he let's us all know when he does!
